India-Philippine deal over defense hardware has made India, a promised exporter in the market
Posted in News3 mn readRecently, a deal in Manila (Capital of Philippines) has been signed between India’s BrahMos Aerospace and Philippines for Philippine Marines to receive BrahMos cruise missile batteries costing almost $375 million, according to the information. A ramjet supersonic cruise missile with the medium range, BrahMos can be launched from land, aircraft, ships or submarine. It is also considered as one of the fastest supersonic cruise missiles in the world. Developed with the Russian Federation’s NPO Mashinostroyeniya and India’s Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO), it is currently a fastest anti-ship cruise missile functioning.
