The incident has sparked public concern as the allegations seem to have been previously overlooked. Hsueh, who was nominated for a Golden Bell Award for his work on public television and is rumored to have worked on video projects for President Tsai Ing-wen, found himself in the eye of the storm during a press conference called by the DPP to apologize.
