  3 mn readThings have changed dramatically on Twitter over the past nine months, and it has been quite the roller-coaster ride. I am still on the platform, but I the time I spend on there has lessened rather dramatically. Twitter is basically a pay-to-play platform now, with Elon Musk describing their content during a Twitter Spaces session as being like the spam folder in one’s email inbox. Whether such a description was intentional or an unhappy coincidence, we probably will never find out, but the way the algorithm has been tweaked to favour subscribers, it certainly does feel as if non-subscribers’ content is only an afterthought now.

According to the information, Olympic wrestler Sakshi Malik, in a press conference declared her decision to quit wrestling after, accused of sexual abuse former President Brij Bhushan of Wrestling Federation was replaced by Sanjay Singh, who is said to be his close ally. Another Bronze medalist in Olympics, Bajrang Punia to return his Padma Shri (highest civilian award) in protest against the decision. ‘We gathered a lot of courage for this fight against the WFI President (Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh). But today, his right hand (referring to Sanjay Singh) has been elected as the new WFI President. We had demanded a woman be made the President, but that has not been fulfilled, says wrestler Sakshi Malik at a press conference’ quoted Press Trust India.
