This comes at a time when Virgin Galactic successfully launched its first passenger spaceflight, taking two pilots and four tourists on an epic journey to the edge of space. Virgin Galactic made history by launching the first fully crewed spaceflight from Spaceport America, New Mexico. This marks a new era for Virgin Galactic, which had been developing its fleet of spacecraft for years before this mission, better known as the Galactic 02. The company has been working towards commercial operations since 2012.
