In 2009, Human Rights Watch(HRW) reported that Chinese Secret Services Agencies detains Chinese citizens for days and months in Secret unlawful detention facilities known as “black jails.”

“Chinese Government officials, security forces, and their agents routinely abduct people off the streets of Beijing and other Chinese cities, strip them of their possessions, and imprison them. These black jails are often located in state-owned hotels, nursing homes, and psychiatric hospitals,” HRW said.

Aside from Black sites in China, it’s discovered now might China has black sites in another country.

Recently a young Chinese girl shocked the world and claimed that, in June 2021,  she was detained in a Chinese Black Site by Chinese Authorities in the United Arab Emirates(UAE) for 8 days.

Wu Huan a 26-year young Chinese woman relived this information to Associated Press(AP) on June 2021.

According to Wu Huan, before being detained, she was under the custody of Dubai Police; later, Chinese Authorities detained her at a villa situated in UAE.

According to her, she was abducted from a hotel in Dubai and detained by Chinese officials at a villa converted into a jail, where she saw two other prisoners, both were Uyghurs.

According to Associated Press, ”The woman, 26-year-old Wu Huan, was on the run to avoid extradition back to China because her fiancé was considered a Chinese dissident.”

Talking to AP – Young Chinese said before being detained and handed over to Chinese Authorities in Dubai, she was in the custody of Dubai police for 3 days.

“On May 27th, I was questioned by Chinese officials in my hotel, the Elemental-Jaddaf Dubai, then taken by Dubai local police to a police station for three days,” she told AP.

She further added and claimed that on the third day, one Chinese visited the Police station and came to meet me in Dubai Local Police Station The Chinese man introduced himself as Li Xuhang.

” Li Xuhang told me that he is working as an official in Chinese Consulate Dubai. He asked me about taking  money from foreign groups to act against China.”

I said no, ”How Could I do that? I love China so much. My passport is Chinese. I’m a Chinese person. I speak Chinese.”

She further said that ” She was handcuffed and put in a black Toyota. After half an hour drive, she was brought inside a white villa with three stories, where rooms had been converted into individual cells.”

“During detention, I was questioned and threatened several times in Chinese.” Wu Said.

According to AP, Mr. Li Xuhang’s name is mentioned on the Chinese Consulate Dubai official website. Still, Chinese Authorities in Dubai didn’t respond to any calls and queries regarding Li Xuhang.

Talking about another detainee in Balck site (China three stories detention center UAE villa), Wu said that during the waiting time for the bathroom, she heard a woman, “I don’t want to go back to China, I want to go back to Turkey.” she was shouting in Chinese and her distinctive appearance and accent was Uyghurs.

According to Media Reports, Wu Huan was not a Human Rights Activist and was not involved in Politics before; she just raised her voice to release her fiancé, who was arrested in Dubai in April 2021. Sources claimed UAE also arrested her fiancé on unclear charges and evidence on Government of China pressure.

Human Rights organizations and Activists also have been raised voices against the UAE for unclear and illegal arrests of Uighurs, Baloch, and others Human Rights Activists from time to time.

Baloch Human Rights Activists have raised the issue of Rashid Baloch in United Nations Human Rights Council sessions in Geneva and Held Protests in Europe.

Rashid Hussain Brohi was a resident of the UAE and was abducted by UAE intelligence Agencies in 2018.

Amnesty International on 20 February 2019 also wrote a letter to UAE and requested ” To reveal Rashid Hussain’s whereabouts and allow him regular and private communication with his family and a lawyer of his choice, and to ensure that refoulement contrary to international law does not occur and that any charges against Rashid Hussain are tried in open court proceedings with all due legal process.”

Rashid Family claimed that UAE authorities handed Rashid to Pakistani Authorities, and so far, no news about Baloch Activists.

Uyghurs Human Rights defenders also raised voices against the UAE regarding illegal arrests and deportation of many Uyghurs from the UAE to China.
