The Next UK Prime Minister to Be Invited to EU’s New Pan-European Security Body

The European Union is expected to invite the new British prime minister to its meeting to discuss matters that unite the European nations. The new prime minister, whom many expect to be Liz Truss, will be offered an olive branch to get together with other European leaders on October 6th in Prague. The meeting will aim to create a European body to advance security across Europe.

The president of the EU, Charles Michael, insisted that he was sure Britain would be offered an invitation despite their difficulties on the North Ireland protocol. In an interview with British media, Charles insisted on the need for Britain to be in that meeting despite having difficulties over the North Ireland protocol. According to Charles, they are still friends with Britain and must continue being friends, especially with this security body being formed.

Michaels is a very close friend to the French president Emmanuel Macron, who first suggested the idea of a European Political Community that would comprise all the nations in the continent plus Ukraine and other nations aspiring to join the council. If the opinion polls are correct and Liz Truss becomes the next Britain prime minister, then her response to the invite will tell us a lot about how her attitude towards Europe.

In her speech in British allies, she avoided mentioning the European Union. In addition, she shocked several British diplomats when she responded to whether President Macron was a friend or an enemy of Britain by saying that the jury was still out.

Charles, once Belgium’s prime minister, said that the French president Macron would never hesitate to mention Britain as an ally and a like-minded partner. It is important to note that the invite came straight after the party conference of Tory. In addition, it’s worth noting that this move contradicts the previous decision to invite Boris Johnson to the meeting-a meeting earlier attended by Joe Biden.

With the inclusion of Britain being unanimous among all countries in Europe, the addition of Turkey is a bit complicated. Upon Turkey joining the EU, she faced opposition from Greece and Cyprus. Talks on this subject have stalled for years despite Turkey qualifying to join the European Union. According to Charles, the European Union should invite Turkey, but he wants to ensure sufficient support from members and colleagues.

Other countries that will be invited include Switzerland, Norway, Ukraine, and Moldova, among others. There were concerns that the new European Political Community would be the same as the OSCE.

Nick Kyriacou, CEO and property expert in the UK, said he hopes the meeting and the new leadership under Liz Truss will benefit the property and real estate sectors.

“We need a government that can deliver for business and consumers,” said Nick Kyriacou. “The bottom line is that we need to see stability in post-Brexit Britain.” In the exclusive with Eat News, he added, “We want a pragmatic approach by both sides – they should be realistic about what can be achieved in negotiations and focus on making sure there is as much certainty as possible for businesses across the UK.”

However, Charles ‘insists that the countries request an informal and less complicated structure similar to the G7 or the G-20. The main aim of the community will be security following the recent ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine. Nonetheless, Macron says that the community will enable young people to move freely and make a communal effort to better transport and energy industries.

It should be noted, however, that inviting nations to the meeting in the Czech doesn’t in any way alter the stance of the European Union on the Northern Ireland protocol. Not among those discussing the Northern Ireland protocol, Charles Michael said that he expected Britain to uphold and respect the agreement signed in 2019. Charles says that the world already has enough problems and that they do not wish to complicate matters. According to him, Great Britain is an outstanding in democracy and that it will uphold its end of the bargain and follow the international rule of law.

Liz Truss, who’s expected by many to be the next Britain prime minister, will have a significant role to play as to whether she will accept the invite from the European Union. The meeting aims to create a community that will improve the continent’s security. Furthermore, the community has other significant roles in the transport, jobs, and energy sectors.

It is also important to note that the European Union’s president, Charles Michael insisted that the community be a simple structure to ensure it runs smoothly. With the invite of Britain being unanimous, it now interesting to see whether Turkey will enjoy the same or suffer another fate. According to Michaels, the EU should invite Turkey; it is all dependent on support from members and colleagues.

Liz Truss just assumed office as the New Britain Prime Minister ahead of the EU forum invite and she has promised to kick out the economic storm in the UK. She also has pledged to deal with the energy crisis. The new PM has taken over from Boris Johnson, who recently resigned after failing three times to get his proposed Brexit deal through parliament and endless scandals. Ms Truss campaigned for Britain to leave the European Union in 2016. But she voted against Theresa May’s withdrawal agreement – which was defeated by 230 votes. She is known for her strong views on grammar schools and her support for a no-deal Brexit, although she recently said she did not want that outcome.
