The formal celebration was attended by various leaders, chief ministers including the oppositions. Ceremony began with prayers, Prime Minister bowed in front of sengol that was later placed next to the chair of Lok Sabha in the parliament. It is a gold plated wand signifying authority and power. It also symbolizes history as it was first received by Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru. As per the reports, sengol considered as a symbol of transfer of power from British to India in 1947.

Several famous roads of national capital New Delhi has been already changed to new names like Race course to Lok Kalyan Marg, Aurangzeb road renamed to APJ Abdul Kalam. Simultaneously, there are still pending requests with central administration about renaming roads such as Akbar road, Babur road, Tughlaq road, Shahjahan road etc. The authority lies with the administration agency that has jurisdiction over particular regions and could be contacted by anyone or any organization in favor of this process.

Sara Gull passed her “Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery” (MBBS) exams from Jinnah Medical and Dental College Karachi. Sara Gull is also working for the wellness of transgender community; she is running a non-governmental organization (NGO) with the title of “Gender Interactive Alliance” (GIA).
