Ruling party BJP won in three states out of four and made its position stronger for elections 2024 in India

As per the information posted on Election Commission’s website, Bhartiya Janta Party won in Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh. Out of 90 assembly constituencies, the political party bagged 54 while the opposition Congress 35. Whereas in Rajasthan, 115 seats out of total 199 seats. And in Madhya Pradesh, the party is set to begin its fifth term after taking over 163 seats out of 230. Telangana is the fourth state, where Indian National Congress remained in power and took over 64 seats out of 119.

3 mn readAfter successful landing at the south pole of the moon on 23rd August, ISRO’s next space program has commenced with its launching of Aditya- L1. Space agency, Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) launched its latest ambitious mission to study the sun. According to the information, the project will help to analysis the situation through sending 1,440 images per day, after reaching its intended orbit. It is launched by PSLV-C57 rocket on 2nd of September from the Sriharikota spaceport at 11:50 AM. It carries seven payloads to study the sun, four of which will observe the light from the sun and the remaining three will measure in situ parameters of the plasma and magnetic fields.

A police case has been filed against three members of EGI, who went to Manipur to cover media reportage over the ongoing ethnic dispute then. According to the complaint, the team submitted ‘false, fabricated and sponsored’ news. Seema Guha, Sanjay Kapoor and Bharat Bhushan are from crowdfunding fact-finding team who visited Manipur between 7 to 10 August. A social worker and resident of Imphal, N Sarat Singh filed the first information report (FIR) against the three of them for promoting enmity between different groups, and using as true such declaration knowing it to be false.

Produced by Vipul Amrutlal and starring Adah Sharma, it has focused on the issues of forced conversion and radicalization of women in state, Kerala. According to the script, 32000 women from Kerala were converted to Islam forcibly and were recruited by the terror group Islamic State. The film is specifically based on 2016 Kerala case, where many girls went reportedly missing and who were converted to Islam to join ISIS. While people who are opposing it, questioning mentioned figures in the movie and that how it is based on true events, however a media channel broadcasted a show on 4th of May and presented similar stories of girls living in Kerala, who suffered forced conversion.

Scheduled at 11am, it broadcasts on last Sunday of each month. This monthly program was started by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi with an aim to interact with citizens on themes and issues that matters to the nation. Prime Minister tweeted, ‘Do tune in at 11am for MannKiBaat100. This has been a truly special journey, in which we have celebrated the collective spirit of the people of India and highlighted inspiring life journeys’. A study says, nearly 96 percent of the population in India is aware of this program and that it has reached up to 100 Crore people over the last eight years. Out of 100 Crore listeners, some are unique ones who have listened the audio broadcast once, according to the study by Indian Institute of Management, Rohtak.
