Court refused to agree with the imposing of urgent measure, when it directed measure earlier, during the hearing in last month. According to the news reports, ICJ in a statement states, ‘the perilous situations in Rafah demanded immediate and effective implementation of the provisional measures that it ordered on 26 January.’ It also added, ‘No new order was necessary because the existing measures are applicable throughout the Gaza strip, including in Rafah’, quoted India Today.

Prisoners-Hostage exchange between Israel and Hamas is not a recently developed way out

Yahya Sinwar the leader of Hamas in Gaza, has said he’s willing to release them all, but only in exchange for every Palestinian in Israeli custody- or over 10,000 prisoners.’ The deal was brokered by Qatar with the help of Egypt and United States.

India voted in favour of resolution that demands immediate ceasefire and release of hostages in Israel-Hamas war
